There are several different types of positions. If you are able to do more than one position (example: you would like to do princess parties, but would also be willing to do mascot jobs), that is a huge plus. Willing to learn balloon twisting and possibly face painting is beneficial and we can provide instructional videos/materials to learn.
Bubbles Productions’s Positions:
- Princess Frog performer. Can expect 1 to 2 (or more) parties per month. Must know Tiana’s story and be able to act like a princess. Pay is $50 – $75 an hour, depending on the location/length of the event.
- Princess performers (Sleeping Beauty, Snow Queen, Cinderella, etc.). Can expect 2 to 3 (or more) parties per month. Must know the story to each princess you will portray. Pay is $50 – $75 an hour, depending on the location/length of the event.
- Superhero performers (Bat Hero, American Hero, Mr. Super, etc.). Must know information on each superhero you portray, be energetic, engaging, good at teaching children superhero values. Since some of the superheroes have the lower part of their face exposed, must have little to no facial hair to look more like the character. Pay is $50 – $75 an hour, depending on the location/length of the event.
- Mascot performers. Must be able to wear hot mascot costumes for up to 1 hour. Must be energetic and outgoing and reliable and comfortable wearing a mascot without a mascot handler. Pay is $50 – $75.
- Dedicated face painters/balloon artists. Must also be outgoing, but already have skills in the face painting and/or balloon twisting world. Pay is $50 – $75 depending on your experience and if you supply your own materials or not.
**Note: all parties have the potential to tip if you do a good job! We do strive for this!**

Requirements of Positions:
- All positions require reliable transportation and be willing to drive to DC, N. VA, and most of MD. Some exceptions can be made on traveling distance, but the more you can travel, the better.
- All positions are independent contractors of Bubbles Productions, LLC and will be required to fill out a W9 for tax purposes, an independent contractor agreement and be able to pass a background check free of theft and anything against children.
- All positions require availability on most Saturdays (at least a 2 – 6PM time block for our busiest time frame). Not required, but helpful if you have some Sunday availability, as well as weekday availability.
- Positions involving costumes, that we provide, will require pick up and drop off to Bowie, MD.
- Must be energetic, engaging, outgoing, professional, responsible, fun and great with children. Being able to show leadership and take control of the party is a great trait for this.
- Princess positions are required to learn basic face painting and balloon art, which is not hard and we can teach it along with YouTube.
- Mascot/Party Leaders and Super Hero positions must learn at least balloon art (and face painting is an optional bonus to learn).
The more of a ‘go-getter’ you are and take initiative, the better you will do in this line of work. This line of work is not for the quiet or soft spoken, but more so for people who can take the lead and entertain children. Although you must be professional, you must be able to have fun with the children as well!
